Jeremiah was called the Thought Manifestation Review weeping prophet. Jeremiah did not weep for himself. He was weeping for the children of Israel. He could see what was going to happen if his nation continued to reject God. He could see the enemy coming to destroy his nation. The more he tried to warn them the meaner they got toward him. The Lord had given the people of Israel a warning through Jeremiah. He told Jeremiah to write a book and present it to the king. When the people of God started reading the warnings to the king, he took a knife and cut the book in pieces and threw it in the fire. The wicked people were also trying to kill Jeremiah. He was accused of conspiring against the people by working for their enemies. Furthermore, he was accused of encouraging the army of Israel not to fight their enemy. He was warning the whole nation that there was going to be God’s judgment on them for their rebellion against God. If they refused to turn from their rebellion against God, sure judgment was to come from Babylon. He told them they would be enslaved in Babylon for 70 years if they continued to reject God and His Word.
