NCQ2
The NCQ2 compact cylinder is the inch version of the world’s best selling pneumatic cylinder and can be supported globally. The NCQ2 is available in 13 bore sizes from 12mm to 160mm. It comes standard with male or female piston rod threads. A large variety of standard options make it one of the most versatile cylinder series on the market. For mounting flexibility, it is possible to mount auto switches on any of the 4 surfaces.
CQ2
The CQ2 compact cylinder is the world’s best selling pneumatic cylinder and is supported globally. The CQ2 is available in 15 bore sizes from 12mm to 200mm. It comes standard with male or female piston rod threads. 42 standard options make it one of the most versatile cylinder series on the market. For mounting flexibility, it is possible to mount auto switches on any of the 4 surfaces.
NCG
The NCG series is an extremely durable, repairable round body cylinder that provides precision mounting, short overall length, light weight and high speed. Rubber bumpers are standard with an option for adjustable air cushion. Nine mounting styles are available for cylinder mounting flexibility. Bore sizes for the NCG range from 3/4″(20mm) to 2 1/2″ (63mm). Standard available stroke lengths from 1″ to 12″ but with the ability for long strokes. The NCG series is auto-switch capable. The NCG is capable of speeds up to 40 in/sec. The NCG series is available in 11 standard options to help fit into many different applications.
Suction Cups
Suction Cups are the critical point of contact for pick and place applications for handling corrugated cardboard, metal or glass sheets, food processing and packaging, and even bag opening tasks. They are designed in a wide range of diameters ranging from 0.8mm to 200mm for tiny objects to heavy-duty applications. SMC’s standard cup shapes include: flat, thin flat, bellows, deep, oval, and oval flat. Suction cup materials are: Silicone, NBR, urethane, FKM, mark-free, and FDA compliant food grade materials. Installation options can be specified on either spring loaded buffers or threaded stems. Special application cups include: integrated with vacuum generator, with check valve, and in porous materials.
Vacuum Generators
Vacuum Generators create industrial vacuum at the application’s point of use utilizing the venturi effect and fluid flow from compressed air or gases. They are compact and light weight units designed for end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) on robotic arms or end effectors generating suction gripping force at the point of use while minimizing inertia. Vacuum levels as low as -27 inHG (-93 kPA) can be attained with multi-stage generators with suction flow greater than 7 SCFM (200 L/min). They can be configured into manifolds or mounted as individual units with options including: energy savings, compact, multi-stage, point-of-use, high speed release and integrated generator with suction cups.
